Welcome to Aarna Devi

Westfälische Str. 72A, 10709 Berlin, Germany

General Info

Tucked along Westfälische Str. 72A in Berlin, Aarna Devi offers a relaxed and welcoming spot for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels easygoing, making it ideal whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or settling in for a longer dine-in experience.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, balancing familiar favorites with comforting specialties. One standout is the korma, which arrives rich, creamy, and layered with subtle spices that don’t overwhelm the palate. It’s the kind of dish that feels both indulgent and comforting at the same time. Alongside that, the klebereis adds a slightly unexpected but pleasant contrast, offering a soft, sticky texture that pairs well with the more robust flavors on the plate.

What really makes the experience enjoyable is how well everything flows. Whether you’re dining solo or meeting a friend, the seating arrangement feels practical and unpretentious. There’s no rush, which makes it easy to take your time exploring the menu or simply enjoying the moment. The restaurant also keeps things convenient with essential amenities like a clean restroom, which adds to the overall comfort of the visit.

During lunchtime, the space takes on a lively yet still manageable energy. It’s busy enough to feel popular but not chaotic, which speaks well of the steady stream of positive reviews it seems to attract. You can tell that many guests return, likely drawn by the consistent quality and approachable service.

The location itself is easy to access, making it a practical choice if you’re exploring Berlin or just passing through the area. It doesn’t try to be overly fancy, and that’s exactly its charm. Instead, it focuses on delivering a reliable, flavorful experience rooted in Indian cuisine.

All in all, Aarna Devi feels like one of those places you remember not because it tries too hard, but because it gets the basics right-good food, a comfortable setting, and a menu that keeps you curious enough to come back and try something new.

What customers say?

“ Very affordable dishes. Went for Chicken Himalaya (8.7€). The food was filling and quite tasty. Very good quality for the price. ”

- Karol Boratynski -

“ This is a family business. Very friendly and helpful. Food was good and reasonably priced. During our visit the restaurant was not full and service was friendly and food arrived very quickly. I would have given the restaurant a 5 star. The reason I did not give the restaurant a 5 star is that the restaurant is untidy and the carpets should be removed or replaced. The number of alcohol bottles standing around full or near empty makes the counter look untidy and in a mess. ”

- N Heymann -

“ Wonderful lunch, affordable and delicious. Some of the most tender chicken I’ve ever had at an Indian restaurant! Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Berlin. Try their Madras dishes and get a garlic naan as a side, you won’t regret it. Quick and friendly service. Delivery is also quite efficient. ”

“ I had a great experience here. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was warm and welcoming. I was greeted by a lovely lady who took my order, and we ended up having a nice little chat about food and culture. I ordered the Chicken Kurma and Samosas. Both very tasty and were packed with rich flavors, clearly made fresh too. Just a heads-up: they come out piping hot, so be careful not to burn your tongue! Definitely a place I’d come back to. ”

- Mohammed Elrakaiby -

“ Loved my dinner here, authentic food and genuine hospitality and great vibes all around and super affordable!! Definitely a must try ”

- Mugdha Mohapatra -

“ What a great restaurant experience...! I had chicken biryani. I loved it. It was so fresh and so delicious. I still remember the taste, especially the bell peppers they added; they were so fresh and crunchy. And the ginger sticks, which stimulate the taste buds. ”

- Rupesh Bagool -

“ Cosy restaurant, very friendly staff, plus delicious (and affordable!) food. They served the best garlic naan bread I ate in my life. ”

- Dion van Oeteren -
